My name is Jack Henry. I am a Syracuse and Philadelphia-based photographer and videographer covering a range of events from news to landscapes with a focus on sports.
Five years of photography experience has taught me the importance of stepping back and finding truth. The ability to tell people's stories and look at the world in new ways has opened my eyes to the importance of human connection. I strive to explore the world creatively, bringing my passion and real-world experiences to every assignment.
I am a sophomore at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications studying photography on the journalism track.
I am a Staff Photographer for the Daily Orange and Photo Editor for TheNewshouse.com. Apart from news coverage, I also hold an internship with the Creative Team at Syracuse Athletics, getting behind-the-scenes coverage of all SU sporting events and media days. I have also freelanced for USA Today, The Utica Observer, and The Empire State Winter Games.
